     Ivan Basso is another fantastic talent in the emerging Cuban art scene.  His colorful paintings capture a dreamlike world, with one foot in bright surrealism and another in a dark reality.  

     He has won multiple awards and has participated in exhibitions in Cuba and Mexico. His talents were recently recognized during Cuba's national quincentennial celebrations.
